ΤΕΙ Thessaly – Hemp – A dynamic Cultivation
On February 22nd, a workshop on “industrial hemp – a dynamic cultivation” was held in the closed amphitheater of the Business Administration of TEI of Thessaly. Keynote lecturers of the University of Thessaly, spoke on a great deal of topics like plant cultivation, ecosystems, fertilization and irrigation, along with explaining the healing properties of cannabis against rare diseases. Of course, we could not have missed the reference to pharmaceutical cannabis and the enormous cost that is needed to start cultivating it. Meanwhile, through the presentation of a Greek company that, in cooperation with two companies from Skopje, is to invest 28 million euros in the construction of a pharmaceutical cannabis unit in Greece, the opportunity was given to the public to ask any questions they might have had about it.
