TEI OF THESSALY – Industrial hemp – a dynamic cultivation

On February 22nd, in the closed amphitheater of the Business Administration of the TEI of Thessaly, a workshop was held on the subject: “industrial hemp – a dynamic crop”. With the main speakers of the professors of the University of Thessaloniki, the speeches began, containing great topics, around the cultivation of the plant, ecosystems, fertilization and irrigation, but also speeches explaining the medicinal properties of cannabis against rare diseases. Of course, there could be no shortage of mention of medicinal cannabis and the huge cost required to start growing it. Through the presentation of a Greek company which, in collaboration with 2 companies from Skopje, is going to invest 28 million euros in the construction of a medicinal cannabis plant in Greece, the public was given the opportunity to ask any questions they may have on the subject.
