Dab art: A true art form

by Julian Grey

Cannabis and creativity:

Cannabis concentrates have been around for many years, but only recently have received the appropriate attention. Not only can they be smoked, but they are also useful as therapeutic and at the same time recreational products.

The new trend is that now they can also be used for decorative purposes. Do you have an artistic side? Maybe you’d like to know that you can take your passion for marijuana to a whole new level.

There are a variety of forms produced by authentic artists, sensitive pieces created by people with passion, who have been engaged in this art for more than a decade, using different resins.

This new art has won the admiration of people who are passionate about cannabis. They are created from hemp oil extracts and take shape (literally) thanks to their own, personal use. The figures are made from small amounts of concentrated resin produced from hemp , and their main ingredients are the cannabinoids THC and CBD, as well as terpenes, elements that give marijuana a taste and aroma.

Concentrates can be of three types: ‘glass’, ‘wax’ or ‘honey’ (the latter is also called butane hemp oil or BHW), as the resin can be extracted using butane, liquid nitrogen or CO2. Depending on each of these elements there are several styles, which are used in different cases. This new art has a lot to show while its artists are definitely inspired to create.
